Pet Heaven x Human World
Can we snuggle under the twinkling lights in my dream tonight?
You were the warmth of my winters. Now our memories will continue to keep me warm throughout this winter and many more to come.
Your world is seven times faster than mine, and I follow your pawprints patiently.
You never cease to shape my world.
I turned around and it was my own lone shadow instead.
Part of you stays with me.
It’s so dark I can’t see my own hands but I know they’re there and so are you.
Splash. A gentle splash. A gentle splash that lifts me up.
Being still is joy, so is commitment.
It’s so quiet I can hear the snow fall.
In between us is the moon.
Once a year, be on the lookout for that guiding light.
Now every new life is a lovely surprise.
The pillow feels huge tonight.
The rustle of crispy maple leaves against four paws.
All water is connected.
Sometimes, all we need is some rain.
Red, round, and warm.
The good old smells of dust, gas, and hot chocolate.
Has this butterfly visited you too?
Listen carefully and you may hear the sweet music.
The wild flowers are blooming again.
Farewell is not the end.
